About Electrical Tools in Sri Lanka
This range is for the people who work on circuits: testing them, joining them and repairing them. It covers digital multimeters and digital clamp multimeters, non-contact voltage detectors, ratchet crimping pliers for insulated terminals, naked terminals, coaxial cable and hex crimps, modular plug crimping tools, automatic and multi-purpose wire strippers, soldering irons in several wattages, soldering iron sets, glue guns, rosin-core solder wire and spring magnet pickup tools.
Measurement comes first, always. A multimeter tells you whether a circuit is live, whether a fuse has gone, whether a cable is broken somewhere inside its insulation, and whether a battery is actually charged. A clamp meter adds the ability to read current without breaking the circuit — you clamp around the conductor and read the load, which is how you find the appliance that is drawing far more than it should. A non-contact voltage detector is the quick, cheap safety check before you touch anything, and it belongs in every electrician's top pocket.
Crimping is where a lot of installations quietly fail. A proper ratchet crimping tool will not release until the crimp is fully formed, which is the entire point — it removes the guesswork and produces the same joint every time. A loose crimp works fine on the day, then heats up under load months later. Matching the tool to the terminal type and the conductor cross-section matters as much as owning one at all.
Soldering covers electronics repair, joining fine conductors and tinning wire ends. Different wattages suit different work: lower for delicate boards, higher for larger joints that would otherwise pull heat away faster than the iron can supply it.
Electricians, electronics repair technicians, appliance engineers, auto electricians, solar installers, network and telecoms installers, maintenance teams and hobbyists all buy from this range.
If your work involves live circuits, look also at our insulated pliers and screwdriver sets under Safety Products — insulation is not a feature to improvise.
