Privacy Policy

When you place an order we ask for:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your delivery address
• Your email address — optional. Give it and we email your confirmation and a private link to track your order; leave it blank and we use your phone instead.
• What you ordered, and any note you add

If you upload a payment slip, we store that image or PDF against your order.

If you send an enquiry or request a quotation, we collect the details you type into that form.

There are no customer accounts on this website, so there is no password of yours for us to hold or lose.

• Take payment and match it to your order
• Pack and deliver your goods
• Answer your questions and handle returns
• Keep a record of the sale for our own accounts

We do not send marketing emails, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information to anybody.

Only the people needed to complete your order:

• Our courier — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver to you.
• Our website and email suppliers — the services that run this site, store our order records and send our emails. They hold the data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for anything else.
• Our bank — if you pay by transfer, your payment appears on our bank statement as any payment would.

We would also share information if the law required it — for example a court order.

Each order gets a private web link containing a long random code. Anyone with that link can see that order, so please treat it like a receipt and do not post it publicly. If you lose it you can find your order again with your order number and the phone number you ordered with.

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser on your own device — not on our servers — until you place the order. If you sign in to the shop's admin area (staff only) a single sign-in cookie is used.

We use privacy-friendly visitor statistics that count page views without cookies and without identifying individual people.

We keep order records for as long as we need them for our accounts and tax records. Enquiries and quotation requests are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us on 077 111 8880 or sales@hardensrilanka.com and we will help.

We may need to keep some record of a completed sale even after a deletion request, where the law requires us to.

The website runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection, our order records are held in a private database that the public cannot read, and access to the shop's admin area is password-protected.

We will never phone, message or email you asking for your card number, PIN or online banking password. If someone does, it is not us.
