It contains four 6 inch blades at 6 teeth per inch in 65Mn spring steel for wood, two 6 inch at 18 teeth per inch in M2 high speed steel for metal, two 6 inch at 10 teeth per inch in M2 for wood with nails in it, and two 9 inch at 6 teeth per inch in 65Mn for wood.

Teeth per inch is the number that decides everything, and there is one rule behind it that explains the whole set. At least three teeth must be in contact with the material at all times. Fewer than that, and the blade does not saw, it hooks: a single tooth catches the edge of the material, the blade is dragged sideways, and it either snatches violently or snaps. That is why cutting thin steel with a coarse blade is so often a broken blade and a ruined cut.

Follow the rule and everything else falls out of it. Thin material such as steel tube, sheet, conduit and small section needs many fine teeth, hence 18 TPI. Thick soft material such as timber needs few coarse teeth with big gullets to clear the waste, hence 6 TPI, which cuts fast. And demolition wood with nails, screws and plate in it needs something in between, tough enough to survive hitting steel unexpectedly, which is the 10 TPI high speed steel pair.

The materials follow the same logic: 65Mn is a spring steel that flexes and survives the bending a reciprocating saw puts a blade through, while M2 high speed steel holds an edge in metal.

The two 9 inch blades give the reach for deeper cuts, thicker timber, and cutting through a section in one pass.
