94Pcs 1/2"&1/4" Dr. Socket Set

The socket coverage is unusually thorough. Eighteen 1/2" hex sockets running 10 to 32mm with no gaps at all through the middle of the range, plus four 1/2" deep sockets at 14, 15, 17 and 19mm — the sizes that most often sit on a projecting stud. On the 1/4" side, thirteen sockets from 4 to 14mm and eight deep sockets from 6 to 13mm. Deep sockets in both drives is what marks this as a set for people who meet real machinery rather than clean bolts.

Then there are the 8x30mm bits — fifteen of them, in hex H8 to H14, slotted 8 to 12mm, Philips PH3 and PH4, Pozi PZ3 and PZ4, and Torx T40 to T55. These are the large, heavy bits, and they are a genuinely different thing from the 25mm bits in a normal set. They are what you need for the big internal-hex and Torx fasteners on suspension components, machinery covers, gearboxes and heavy plant, where a small bit would simply twist.

Seventeen more 1/4" bit sockets cover the small end — hex, slotted, Philips, Pozi and Torx down to T10.

The drive accessories are where the thought shows. A 150mm flexible socket joint bends around an obstruction rather than merely angling like a universal joint. A spinner handle runs a fastener down quickly once it is loose. A 110mm sliding T-bar gives balanced two-handed pull. A 30mm socket extension, a 1/2" to 3/8" three-hole way adaptor so you can use 3/8" accessories, universal joints and hex bit adaptors on both drives, and 72-tooth flipper ratchets throughout.
