89Pcs 1/2"&1/4" Dr. Socket Set

The socket side covers both drives. Ten 1/4" sockets from 5 to 14mm for small fasteners, and thirteen 1/2" sockets from 10 to 32mm for the heavy end — so you are not using a big drive on a small bolt and shearing it, or a small drive on a big one and twisting the tool. Ten 1/2" deep sockets from 8 to 19mm are included too, and deep sockets solve a specific and very common problem: a nut on a long stud or a projecting thread that a standard socket cannot reach down over. Exhaust clamps, U-bolts, battery terminals and machine studs all need them.

What makes this set different is everything else in the box. Eleven combination wrenches from 8 to 19mm mean you can hold one end of a bolt while turning the other, which no socket set on its own will let you do. A 6" long nose plier and an 8" slip joint plier cover gripping, bending and pulling. Eight hex key wrenches from 1.5 to 6mm handle grub screws and machine fittings. Twenty-two 25mm bits cover hex, slotted, Philips, Pozi and Torx up to T40.

The handling pieces are complete on both drives: flipper ratchets, universal joints, a 110mm sliding T-bar and a 3" extension on the 1/4", and 5" and 10" extensions on the 1/2". Two spark plug sockets at 16 and 21mm. A bit adaptor to drive the bits from a ratchet.
