Sixty to 330 N.m is the heavy 1/2" torque wrench, and it is bought for the fasteners at the top of what half-inch drive work involves: hub and axle nuts, heavy suspension and steering components, driveline and differential fixings, engine and gearbox mountings on larger vehicles, agricultural implement bolting, and wheel nuts on commercial vehicles.
Choosing between this and the 30 to 210 wrench comes down to where your figures fall, and there is a principle worth applying. A mechanical torque wrench is least accurate at the extreme ends of its scale, so you want your typical setting to land in the middle two-thirds of the range. If most of what you tighten is between 100 and 280 N.m, this is the right tool. If it is between 50 and 150, the 30 to 210 will serve you better, and using this one at its lowest setting for a 70 N.m fastener is asking for the least reliable reading it can give.
There is a limit worth being honest about at the top of this range. Three hundred and thirty newton metres is a great deal of torque to apply through a half-inch square drive, and it is close to the practical ceiling of that drive size. Reaching it means using the full length of the handle with a firm, steady pull — not a jerk, and certainly not a pipe over the handle, which would both destroy the calibration and risk the drive. If your work regularly needs more than this, the honest answer is a 3/4" drive setup rather than a bigger half-inch wrench, and there is a 3/4" ratchet in this range.
Accuracy is ±3%. The head is a 72-tooth chrome molybdenum ratchet giving a five degree swing arc, and the handle is aluminium — light for its length, and rigid enough not to flex and absorb the very forces it is meant to measure.
