The overlap with the 10 to 110 wrench beside it is deliberate rather than redundant, and choosing between them is worth a moment. A torque wrench is at its least accurate at the very bottom of its scale, so a reading of 40 N.m is more reliably delivered by a wrench whose range starts at 30 than by one that tops out at 110 and is being asked for its highest setting. The general rule is to work in the middle two-thirds of a wrench's range wherever possible. If your typical figures are 30 to 150 N.m — which covers most suspension and wheel work — this is the wrench. If they are 15 to 90, the 10 to 110 one is the better match.

Wheel nuts sit right in this range and are worth mentioning specifically, because they are the fasteners most people get wrong and the consequences are the most serious. Under-tightened, they work loose and a wheel departs. Over-tightened — which is what an impact gun on maximum does — the studs are stretched and can snap later under load, and the brake discs warp, which is what makes a pedal pulse. The correct method is to run them up by hand in a star pattern and finish with this wrench.
