At 17mm the honest advice is about where this tool belongs. A nut driver's advantages are speed and one-handed placing, and those are real: the magnet holds the bolt or nut on the driver so you can start it with one hand while the other holds the component, which on an overhead or awkward fixing is the only practical way to work alone. What it does not give is feel or torque control. An M10 bolt in a structural or mounting application usually has a torque figure, and a power driver with a clutch is not a torque wrench.

So the sensible pattern is to use this to place and run the fastener down, and to finish with a socket and a torque wrench wherever the figure matters. Used that way it saves a great deal of time; used as the only tool on a load-bearing fixing it does not.

These are the long pattern, giving reach past flanges, brackets and recesses that a short socket cannot clear.

Two habits. Seat the socket fully on the head before applying power, since at 17mm the torque available will round a partly engaged head almost immediately. And keep the magnet clean of swarf and filings, because anything trapped in the bottom of the socket stops the fastener seating flat and is the usual reason a nut driver starts to slip.
