The combination is what makes it work. Solvent, degreaser or cleaning fluid alone will soften dirt but leave it where it is; air alone will blow off loose dust but not touch oil and grease. Together, the fluid dissolves and the air jet drives it out — out of the fins of a radiator, the recesses of a casting, a gearbox housing, a chain, a filter, the inside of a wheel, or a machined part covered in cutting fluid and swarf.

An 800ml reservoir is enough to work continuously through a substantial cleaning job without refilling, which matters because these tools get used on the dirtiest work in the shop.

It is the Japanese type with CE certification, so it plugs into the same standard coupler system as the rest of the air range.

The safety here deserves proper attention, more than most tools in the catalogue. Whatever you put in the reservoir gets atomised into a fine airborne mist, and a mist is far easier to breathe deep into the lungs than a liquid is. Solvents and degreasers that are merely unpleasant to handle become genuinely hazardous in that form. So: work outdoors or with real extraction, never in a closed workshop; wear a respirator rated for organic vapour rather than a dust mask; wear eye protection, because the jet will throw fluid straight back at you off a hard surface; and wear gloves, since degreaser strips the oil out of skin quickly.

Never use petrol or any flammable solvent in one. Atomised fuel and a source of ignition is how workshops burn down, and compressed air can generate static. Use a proper water-based or purpose-made cleaning fluid.
