Never point one at a person, even in fun — air forced into the body through a cut or a body opening causes serious internal injury, and this is a well-documented cause of workshop deaths, not a theoretical risk. Do not use one to blow dust off your own clothing. And when clearing brake dust or old machining swarf, remember that you are putting whatever it is into the air you then breathe, so a mask and ventilation matter.
