It holds door cards and interior trim panels, seat and console fixings, dashboard and pillar trim, boot and tailgate liners, and under-bonnet plastic covers on imported Japanese and European cars. The practical warning at T20 is about identification rather than technique. T20 and T25 keys are close enough in size that they are genuinely hard to tell apart lying in a drawer, and a T20 will enter a T25 recess and feel almost right. It is not right. The smaller key touches the lobes only at their tips, so all the load lands on a few small points of metal, and on the sort of screw that has been in a door for ten years in this climate the lobes round off before the screw moves. The number is stamped on the arm of the key. On trim work, where a stripped screw means removing a panel by force and usually breaking a clip or a bracket, reading it is worth the two seconds.

The long arm suits this work particularly. Trim screws sit down in recesses behind wiring, ducting and sound deadening, and reach is what lets you get the key in line with the screw instead of at an angle across it.
