Wind it out with the ratchet, which is where it saves you real time — suspension and mounting bolts are long, and winding a long bolt out with an ordinary spanner in a wheel arch is genuinely tedious. Then tighten with a socket and a torque wrench, because these are fasteners with specified figures.

Where the 72-tooth head earns its place is access. Tooth count sets the swing arc, and five degrees against a coarse ratchet's fifteen is often the difference between working and not in a wheel arch or under a subframe.
